It’s been a while since my last update.

I lost my mother to leukemia two months ago, which unsurprisingly took a lot of gamedev-energy out of me. On the other hand, we had plenty of time to say goodbyes, even talk for hours in the middle of the night like we used to when I was a kid. I feel incredibly lucky to have had those moments, even if it was easily the most difficult thing I’ve dealt with. Thank you to friends and family who helped us during and after that.

Life goes on though. I’m already spending a lot of time in game development, experimenting with new things. I’ll make new blog posts soon about them. This post is bit odd one out, but felt like writing it first.

Me and my mom always shared a facination about space. For the last year I got big time into astrophotography. She was always exited to see new photos. The photo is my most recent one, and the last one I shared with her.

Goodbye mom, I’ll miss you.
